BJP Corporator Seeks Student Coaches in Mumbai Local Trains

Some grown-ups are trying to make Mumbai's busy local trains better for students.

A leader named Tejasvee Ghosalkar wrote a letter to the minister in charge of trains, Ashwini Vaishnaw.

She asked him to keep three special coaches just for college students.

The special coaches would be for students in the morning, between 5 o'clock and 11 o'clock.

Mumbai's trains get very crowded, because lots of people ride them every day.

Right now, there are two coaches just for women, one coach for first-class, and one coach for luggage.

Some people worry that taking away three coaches from everyone else would make the other coaches even more crowded.

The leader who made this request belongs to a political party called the BJP.

The party wants to connect with young people, so it is listening to ideas that help students.

Now we have to wait and see if the Railway Ministry thinks the plan can work.
