Ganpati Special Trains Attract 1.17 Lakh Bookings Before Rush

Many people have already booked tickets for special Ganpati festival trains.

More than 1.17 lakh passengers have made reservations.

Central Railway is adding 262 special train trips to help manage the crowds.

Of these, 200 trips will have reserved seats and 62 will be unreserved.

Some trains will have air-conditioned, sleeper and general coaches.

The trains will leave from Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur.

They will travel to places in Maharashtra’s Konkan region and Goa.

The special services will start on September 9, 2026.
