Nepal Urges India, China Cooperation After Devastating Floods
Severe flash floods recently damaged parts of Nepal.
Many homes, villages, bridges and hydropower plants were destroyed.
Some families are still waiting for news about missing relatives.
Rabi Lamichhane said Nepal, India and China share one mountain system.
He said floodwater does not stop at national borders.
He asked the three countries to work together against climate change.
He also called for warning systems that could give families about 20 minutes to evacuate.

He spoke at the NDTV World Anviksha Summit in Kathmandu, a day after flash floods devastated parts of Nepal.
Lamichhane said floods destroyed villages, homes, bridges and hydropower plants, while relatives remained missing.
He said the Himalayas are changing faster than institutions, with glaciers receding and new lakes forming.
Lamichhane thanked Narendra Modi for contacting Balen Shah and for India’s immediate delivery of relief supplies.
