Visakhapatnam is planning several projects to make drinking water more reliable.

The Andhra Pradesh government wants to improve water supply in 123 municipalities.

One major plan would bring Godavari water to Visakhapatnam.

The project is expected to help provide 135 litres of water per person each day.

Around Rs.1,000 crore is planned for water infrastructure in the district.

Another project is giving some parts of the city water all day and night.

About 28,000 of 40,000 planned connections are finished.

New pipelines and faster construction are also expected to improve water delivery.
