Indonesia asks ministries to cut unused travel budgets by 30%
The Finance Ministry wants ministries and agencies to spend less on official travel.
They are asked to save 30% of travel budgets that have not yet been used, including by holding more meetings online.
Some unspent spending on vehicles, official housing and building work must also be delayed.
The aim is to focus public money on planned priorities without disrupting public services.
