Indra Kenz returned to prison after conditional release revoked

Indra Kesuma, known as Indra Kenz, has been returned to prison in Indonesia after authorities revoked his conditional release.

He is now at Tangerang prison in Banten, rather than Cibinong prison in West Java.

Kenz was convicted in a fraudulent Binomo investment case and a money-laundering case, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

He had served about five years and received conditional release on September 24, 2026.

The decision to revoke it followed an Ombudsman finding of luxury facilities at Cibinong prison and an internal investigation into possible misconduct and rule violations there.

Authorities said Kenz was suspected of helping arrange the facilities, and that he accepted the revocation without resistance.

He will serve the remainder of his sentence in prison.
