Mumbai Railways Announce Sunday Mega Blocks and Service Changes
Mumbai’s train companies are doing repair and maintenance work on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
Because of this work, some local trains will use different tracks or stop at different stations.
The Central Railway will block slow tracks between CSMT and Vidyavihar during the day.
Some Harbour Line trains between Kurla and Vashi will not run for several hours.
Special trains will operate on some sections to help passengers.
Passengers may also use the Thane–Vashi–Nerul route during the Harbour Line block.
Western Railway will carry out overnight work between Borivali and Bhayandar.
