Mumbai Local Mega Block Cancels Trans-Harbour Services, Diverts Trains
Central Railway is doing maintenance work on some Mumbai train tracks on Sunday, August 30.
This work will affect trains for several hours.
Some long-distance trains on the Main Line will use different tracks.
These trains may reach their destinations 10 to 15 minutes late.
Local trains on parts of the Trans-Harbour Line will be cancelled during the work.
The affected area includes routes between Thane, Vashi, Nerul and Panvel.
Trains between Belapur and Uran will run normally.
Passengers should check the timetable before leaving home.
Central Railway will conduct a 5.5-hour Main Line block between Vidyavihar and Thane from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm on Sunday, August 30.
Selected Down and Up Mail and Express trains will be diverted and may arrive 10 to 15 minutes late.
Trans-Harbour services between Thane and Vashi, Nerul and Panvel will be suspended from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm.
Down services departing Thane between 10:35 am and 4:07 pm, and Up services departing Panvel, Nerul and Vashi between 10:25 am and 4:09 pm, will be cancelled.
Belapur-Uran trains will operate according to the regular Sunday timetable, while passengers are advised to check revised schedules.
