Maharashtra Approves ₹17,725-Crore Metro Line 13 Project
Metro Line 13 is a planned train route in the Mumbai region.
It will connect Mira-Bhayandar with Vasai-Virar.
The route will cross Vasai Creek using a new bridge.
The bridge will carry both Metro trains and road vehicles.
It will include six road lanes and connect through Panju Island.

Passengers will also be able to change to local trains, buses and another Metro line.
The Maharashtra Cabinet Infrastructure Committee approved the ₹17,724.99-crore Metro Line 13 project.
The 25.03-km corridor will connect Mira-Bhayandar with Vasai-Virar through Mira Road, Vasai, Naigaon, Nalasopara and Virar.
A proposed 4.92-km double-decker bridge will carry a six-lane road and Metro line across Vasai Creek via Panju Island.
The corridor will have 16 stations, comprising 13 elevated and three underground stations.
Rail interchanges, bus links and a proposed Metro Line 9 connection are planned to support multimodal travel.
