National AI Skilling Initiative records 60,253 Phase I enrolments

India started a big program called the National AI Skilling Initiative to teach people about artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence is how computers can learn and do smart things, like a computer that can write or make pictures.

The program has two parts, called Phase I and Phase II.

So far, more than 60,000 people have signed up for Phase I. Some lessons teach how to use AI tools to make work easier and create content.

Other lessons teach how to write good instructions, called prompts, for AI.

There are also lessons about how AI works and how leaders can use it at work.

More than 500 people have finished all four lessons.

The government is now planning Phase II of the program.
