Andhra Pradesh Leads Nation in AI and Big Data Skilling
Andhra Pradesh is a state in India, and it is teaching many people new computer skills.
The skills are called Artificial Intelligence, or AI, and Big Data Analytics, which is how computers study very large amounts of information.
More than one and a half lakh people, which is more than 150,000 people, got this special training in the last three years.
The training is part of a big government programme called FutureSkills PRIME.
It is run by India's electronics and information technology ministry along with a technology group called NASSCOM.
Andhra Pradesh did better than any other state in India at finishing these courses.
More than one lakh people in the state completed their certification.
The programme also teaches other skills like cyber security, blockchain and more.
Many of the students come from smaller towns and cities, not just big ones.
This helps more people get ready for jobs in technology.
Andhra Pradesh trained over 1.53 lakh candidates in AI and Big Data Analytics over the last three years.
AP recorded the highest number of AI/Big Data certifications under FutureSkills PRIME among all states, with 1,08,895 of 1,53,783 candidates certified.
