NSDC and AWS Launch Nationwide Cloud and AI Skilling Programme
India has started a new programme to teach people about cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
The National Skill Development Corporation and Amazon Web Services are involved in the initiative.
It aims to teach basic cloud and AI skills to 1.5 lakh learners.
Another 10,000 people will receive training aimed at preparing them for jobs.
The courses will be available completely online.
Young people in smaller cities can study without moving to large cities.
Cultus Education is also working with the organisations on the programme.
Minister Jayant Chaudhary said these skills can help India build a stronger future workforce.

The programme offers foundational AI and cloud literacy through Amazon Web Services training content.
AWS re/Start will provide job-ready training to 10,000 participants.
The fully online initiative targets youth in underserved Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
