Hyderabad Reservoirs Boosted by Recent Rainfall
Twin reservoirs receive fresh inflows amid rains across Hyderabad · thehansindia.com

Hyderabad has two big water tanks called Himayatsagar and Osmansagar.

In the last two days, rain fell across the city and sent more water into these tanks.

Himayatsagar got a lot of water, about 400 cusecs, and its level rose to 1,760.80 feet.

Osmansagar got 150 cusecs and rose to 1,783.35 feet.

The water board is watching the levels closely and hasn’t opened the gates yet because the tanks are still below their maximum limits.

This extra water helps keep the city’s drinking water supply safe during the monsoon season.
