A new bridge is being built over the Musi River in Hyderabad.

It is at a place called Moosarambagh.

The bridge is planned to open in the first week of September.

The older bridge was low and sometimes went underwater during the rainy season.

This happened when water was released from the Osmansagar and Himayatsagar reservoirs.

The new bridge is 10 metres high to help prevent this problem.

It should make travel between Amberpet and Moosarambagh easier and safer.

It also has wide paths for people walking.
