PM Modi vows Viksit Bharat by 2047 in I-Day address

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, gave a big speech on India's Independence Day.

Independence Day is when India celebrates becoming a free country.

He spoke from a famous place called the Red Fort.

In his speech, he said India will become a very developed and strong country by the year 2047.

That year is special because it will be 100 years since India became independent.

He told everyone to have big dreams and work hard to make those dreams come true.

He said India has grown a lot, like making more phones and using more digital money.

He also said many people have moved out of poverty.

He felt happy that a famous song called 'Vande Mataram' played at the Red Fort for the first time since independence.

He also said he is worried about families affected by floods and promised that the whole country will help them.
