Modi outlines 'Sapta Dhara' roadmap for developed India by 2047

India's leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, gave a big speech from a famous old fort called the Red Fort on India's Independence Day.

Independence Day is a special day when India celebrates becoming a free country.

He said India has a big dream: to become a fully developed nation by the year 2047, when the country will complete 100 years of independence.

To get there, he shared a plan with seven parts, which he called seven streams, or 'Sapta Dhara'.

The streams include making better products in Indian factories, growing more food to sell around the world, and using new technology like 6G internet.

The plan also covers faster trains and highways, making India's own defence equipment, taking care of the environment and oceans, and sharing India's culture like yoga and films.

He told Indian companies to focus on cost, quality, and scale so the whole world trusts their products.

He said India is on a 'reform express' train and needs to speed up changes in the next five to seven years.

He also said India should stop relying on other countries and think big.

He believes that if all seven streams work together, India can reach new heights.
