TTD to launch Nandakam app for real-time sanitation monitoring
‘Nandakam’ App to monitor real time sanitary issues · thehansindia.com

Tirumala is a very special and holy hill town visited by many pilgrims.

The people who manage it, called TTD, want to keep it clean.

On Friday, their leader, Mr. Venkaiah Chowdary, met with workers to talk about garbage and cleaning.

They are building a new phone app called Nandakam.

If anyone sees a dirty spot, the app will let them report it right away.

The app will then send the message straight to the worker who is responsible.

That worker can fix the problem, and everyone can track the progress.

The app should start working next month.

TTD is also asking pilgrims to help by not throwing trash from cars and not using plastic.

Volunteers are helping too, and visitors are already giving better feedback about cleanliness.
