TTD Additional EO hoists flag, unveils pilgrim-focused reforms
There is a very special hill town called Tirumala where millions of people go to pray.
On India's Independence Day, a leader named Ch Venkaiah Chowdary raised the national flag there.
He asked all the workers to help the visitors with even more energy and kindness.
The temple people are making big changes to take care of pilgrims.
They are adding 37 new electric buses that do not make dirty smoke, and rides on them will be free.
A big computer system now watches how many people are coming, so the temple can be ready for them.
They also track wild animals to keep everyone safe.
A new lab checks that the food is safe to eat, and counters have handled lots and lots of luggage.
In just one month, they sold 1.30 crore special sweet treats called laddus, which is a new record.
All these changes are meant to make every visitor's trip happy and safe.
TTD Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary hoisted the national flag at his Tirumala camp office on the 80th Independence Day and urged employees to serve devotees with greater vigour.
Thirty-seven additional electric buses will be inducted to cut vehicular pollution, with free services every two minutes.
The Integrated Command and Control Centre now offers real-time pilgrim data and forecasting, and a wildlife tracking system enhances safety.
Luggage counters handled 2.6 crore bags in five months, and a new FSSAI food lab is now operational.
A record 1.30 crore laddus were sold in a month, and the Nandakam App will monitor employee services and track resolution times.
