Anakapalli unique in AP handloom sector: Anitha announces weaver benefits

In Andhra Pradesh, people who weave cloth by hand are called handloom weavers.

A lady named Anitha, who is the Home Minister, talked about how important their work is.

She said the Anakapalli district is special because of its beautiful handwoven fabrics.

The government wants to help weavers by giving them money and other support.

Every weaver who owns a loom will get 25,000 rupees.

Their families can also get free electricity for their homes.

Many of the weavers are women, so this help is good for them too.

When weavers grow older, they will get a pension from the government.

The minister also said the previous government did not help people, but the new one is bringing back helpful programs.
