Bengaluru Announces Independence Day 2026 Parking Restrictions and Road Curbs

India celebrates its Independence Day on August 15 every year.

This year, on August 15, 2026, the city of Bengaluru is making special arrangements for the celebration.

Because of the celebrations, parking will not be allowed on some important roads.

These roads include Queens Road, Lok Bhavan Road, T. Chowdaiah Road and Race Course Road.

Parking will also be banned near certain spots like King Circle in Cubbon Park and the area around the Press Club.

People who usually park there will need to find another place.

The city is also closing down some metro services and putting up road blocks.
