Govt received 15 lakh public grievances in six months
The government of India has a big online system where people can send complaints when government services do not work well.
This system is called CPGRAMS.
Between January and July 2026, more than 15 lakh people, which is around one and a half million, sent complaints.
The government says it fixed these complaints in about 13 days on average.
A minister named Jitendra Singh shared these numbers with the Indian Parliament.
The government wants to make fixing complaints even faster, bringing the time down from 30 days to 21 days.
They also created a helpful robot called 'Samadhan Didi' that can listen to complaints by voice in many languages.
This robot sends each complaint to the right department so it gets fixed quickly.
The government also made it easier for retired people to confirm they are still alive every year, so their pension keeps coming without trouble.
The government received 15,20,576 public grievances on CPGRAMS between January 1 and July 15, 2026.
The average disposal time for grievance redressal on CPGRAMS was 13 days for central ministries/departments.
MoS Jitendra Singh told the Lok Sabha in a written reply that initiatives aim to reduce the redressal timeline from 30 days to 21 days.
An AI-enabled CPGRAMS chatbot named 'Samadhan Didi' was launched on May 30, 2026, enabling multilingual voice-based registration in all 22 official languages.
The government also cited CPENGRAMS and the Digital Life Certificate (Jeevan Pramaan) for improving pension-related grievance redressal and life certificate submission.
