EPFO Pensioners Submit Jeevan Pramaan Patra via Aadhaar Face ID
EPFO Jeevan Pramaan Patra online: How pensioners can submit life certificate using Aadhaar Face ID? · financialexpress.com

Pensioners in India have to prove they are still alive every year.

They do this by submitting a special paper called a Life Certificate, or Jeevan Pramaan Patra.

The certificate has to be submitted by 30 November each year.

If they do not submit it on time, their pension payments can be stopped.

The certificate can be submitted in person at an office or bank.

It can also be submitted online using a smartphone.

To submit online, pensioners install two apps and take a photo of their face with the phone's camera.

The phone needs a front camera that is good enough for the face scan to work.

After submitting, they get a message with a link to download their certificate.

The certificate is valid for one year, so this has to be done every year.
