Odisha Launches WhatsApp System for Revenue Grievance Redressal
Odisha State launches WhatsApp revenue grievance system · thehansindia.com

Odisha has started a new way for people to complain about Revenue department services using WhatsApp.

The service works through a chatbot called Ama Sathi.

People can choose a complaint category, send details and upload documents.

Officials will examine the complaint and may ask Revenue Inspectors to verify information.

More senior officials can receive complaints that need higher-level action.

People will get messages showing what is happening with their complaint.

They will also be told whether it was resolved or rejected and can rate the service.

The government is discussing how to add complaints made in offices to the same system.
