Ganesh Chaturthi is a big festival in India when many people celebrate the elephant god Ganesha.
Lots of people travel at this time to visit family and temples in coastal areas.
Trains can get very crowded during the festival.
Western Railway decided to add two special trains to help people travel more easily.
One special train goes from Mumbai to Thokur, a place near Mangaluru.
The other special train comes back from Thokur to Mumbai.
These trains run once a week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting in September 2026.
People can book their tickets starting on 9 August 2026.
The railway says people should book early because the trains will be very busy.
The special trains will only run on the notified days and not as regular daily services.
