Central Railway is adding a special train for people traveling between Mumbai and Kerala for Onam.

Onam is a major festival in Kerala.

The train will start at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai and finish at Thiruvananthapuram Central.

It will travel through four states and stop at many stations.

The Mumbai-to-Kerala train leaves on August 23, 2026.

It arrives in Thiruvananthapuram the next night.

The train back to Mumbai leaves on August 29 and arrives early on August 31.

People can book seats from August 22 using railway counters, the IRCTC website or the RailOne app.

Train 01463 departs Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2026, and arrives at Thiruvananthapuram Central at 11:30 p.m. on August 24.
Return train
Train 01464 departs Thiruvananthapuram Central at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, and arrives at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12:55 a.m. on Monday, August 31.
