Western Railway runs special trains for Tamil Nadu festive rush

A train company called Western Railway is adding extra trains for people traveling during a busy festive season.

Festive time means lots of holidays, and many people want to visit their families in faraway places.

These special trains will travel between Mumbai and a town called Velankanni in Tamil Nadu.

One train starts from Bandra Terminus in Mumbai, and another starts from Valsad.

The return trains bring passengers back to Bandra Terminus and Dahanu Road.

The trains stop at many stations along the way, like Pune, Solapur and Vellore.

They have different types of seats, from air-conditioned coaches to general second class.

People can book their tickets starting from August 10, 2026.

Tickets can be bought at railway counters or on the IRCTC website.

These special trains help make sure everyone can get home safely for the celebrations.
