McLaren optimistic after four teams lead Singapore sprint qualifying

Four different teams filled the top four places in Singapore sprint qualifying, with McLaren’s Oscar Piastri fourth.

McLaren had struggled with its car in recent rounds, so team principal Andrea Stella said the result was encouraging.

He hopes the team can compete for podiums.

The sprint race will give McLaren more information about how its car performs before Grand Prix qualifying.
