Singapore Grand Prix qualifying delayed after rain-hit sprint
Qualifying for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix has been delayed after rain disrupted Saturday’s sprint race at Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Heavy rain arrived shortly before the sprint was due to start, and the race began about 30 minutes late.
A crash involving George Russell and other incidents extended the sprint further.
The race ended at 6:16pm local time, with Max Verstappen ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
Qualifying had been scheduled for 9pm, but the rules require at least three hours between the end of the sprint and the start of qualifying.
The FIA said it would release an updated schedule.
Several sprint incidents are also due to be reviewed by race stewards.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia race scheduled between the sessions was also pushed back by half an hour, according to GPFans.
