Layne Riggs wins at Charlotte, moves within 17 points of Truck Series lead

Layne Riggs won Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, earning his seventh win of the season.
Riggs moved to within 17 points of championship leader Kaden Honeycutt, who finished third.
Riggs started 13th and won Stage 1; Honeycutt won Stage 2 and led much of the final stage.
With 15 laps remaining, Honeycutt slid into the wall while defending the lead, allowing Riggs to pass and take the win.
Christian Eckes finished second, followed by Honeycutt, Bayley Currey and Chandler Smith.
