FIA takes no further action after Verstappen passes Hamilton under yellow flags

Verstappen passed Hamilton in a section of track where yellow flags were shown.

The FIA said Verstappen lifted off the throttle and slowed, but still breached the rules by overtaking.

Stewards decided not to penalize him because they viewed the pass as an unfortunate result of the cars’ different speeds.

He keeps pole position for the sprint race.
