NASCAR moves Charlotte practice and qualifying earlier to avoid rain

Hurricane Isaias is expected to bring rain to Charlotte during NASCAR's race weekend.

NASCAR moved practice and qualifying for two series two hours earlier to try to avoid the worst of the weather.

Rain could still disrupt the schedule, and the race start times have not changed.

If qualifying is canceled, the starting order could be set using other measures.
