Microsoft introduces a magnetic USB-C charging port for its new Surface Laptop Ultra
Microsoft introduced Magnetic Connect for its new Surface Laptop Ultra at an October event.
The system pairs a USB-C port with a magnetic charging cable that lines up with the port.
Unlike Apple’s MacBook MagSafe port, it uses USB-C, so the port can connect other devices when it is not charging the laptop.
