Nothing begins stable Android 17 rollout for Phone (3)

Nothing has started releasing the stable Android 17 update for its Phone (3).

The update comes as Nothing OS 5.0 and follows a beta program that began a couple of months ago.

It includes a redesigned launcher, a refreshed visual style, more personalisation options and changes to performance and AI tools.

Phone (3) owners can install it through Settings, under System and System update.

Nothing says other devices will get the update on a schedule running from early November to mid-January 2027.

The listed devices include Phone (4a), Phone (3a) and Phone (2a) models, as well as CMF Phone 2 Pro.

The rollout matters to owners of those phones because it sets out when they can expect the new software.
