WorldSBK to race in China for the first time in 2027

WorldSBK plans to hold a race in China for the first time in 2027, at Shanghai International Circuit.

The series has had only one race outside Europe in each of the past two years.

Chinese motorcycle makers have also become more involved in WorldSBK and its related classes.

Gregorio Lavilla said racing in China could bring benefits to the championship.
