Nashik Farmers Asked to Submit Evidence on Onion Procurement
Some people have complained that onions were not bought properly in Nashik.
The Maharashtra Government has created a committee to investigate these complaints.

Maharashtra has formed an inquiry committee to examine alleged irregularities in Nashik’s 2026–27 onion procurement process.
The procurement is being conducted by the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India and the National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation of India under the Price Stabilisation Fund scheme.
Nashik District Collector Ayush Prasad will chair the committee, which includes local administrative and cooperative officials.
