DGP Anand Launches TG-VEER Portal for Police Martyrs' Families
The police in a place called Telangana made a new website.
It is for families of police officers who died while doing their important jobs.
These officers are called martyrs.
The website is called TG-VEER.
Families can use it to ask for help, like getting money or jobs.
A police leader named Mr. Anand started the website.
He met 28 families in a city called Warangal.
He gave them special cards with a QR code on them.
When the card is scanned, it opens the website.
The police will try to solve the problems that families write about.
DGP C. V. Anand launched TG-VEER, a dedicated grievance portal for families of Telangana police martyrs.
Families can register grievances on financial assistance, compassionate appointments, plot allotment, pensions and other benefits.
The portal combines the martyr's service profile, family details and benefits received, with a repository of Government Orders and unit/State-level monitoring.
QR-code-enabled family cards were issued to families of 28 martyrs of the Warangal Commissionerate who died fighting Naxalism.
Anand directed SIB officials to collect grievances from all units, assured families he would pursue issues with the government, and inspected the new Warangal Commissionerate building.
