PM Modi At IIT Delhi Convocation, Wants More Women Winners
India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, went to a big celebration at one of India's most famous engineering schools, IIT Delhi.
It was the school's 57th graduation ceremony.
Thousands of students got their degrees, and some very special students received shiny gold medals for doing really well.
Mr. Modi told everyone he was very proud of the students, just like their families were.
He said he wished even more of the medal winners had been girls.
He also inaugurated a brand-new super-smart computer called Param Pragya that will help with science and artificial intelligence.
Mr. Modi told the students that the world is changing fast because of new technology, and gave them a clue to success: 'the one who learns will win.'
He reminded them to work hard for India and to help their country grow and develop.
The education minister said India has built many new universities and colleges in recent years.
It was a very proud and happy day for the students and their families.
