TMCV Q1 results: Net profit jumps 83%, revenue rises 19%
TMCV is a company that makes commercial vehicles like trucks.
Companies tell people how much money they make every few months.
This time, TMCV had very good news.
Its profit went up by 83 percent, which means it earned Rs 2,560 crore in one quarter.
The money it got from selling its vehicles also went up by 19 percent.
One small money number called EBITDA also went up by 10 percent.
But the rate at which it keeps money from sales went down a little bit.
TMCV is also trying to finish a big deal with Iveco, and it needs just one more approval.
The company says its electric commercial vehicles are selling very well, with almost half the market share.
Its leader says India's strong economy is helping the business stay strong.
TMCV's Q1 FY27 net profit jumped 83% year-on-year to Rs 2,560 crore.
Revenue from operations rose 19.30% to Rs 20,667 crore from Rs 17,324 crore a year earlier.
EBITDA grew 10% to Rs 2,300 crore, but the EBITDA margin contracted 90 basis points to 10.9%.
The eSCV segment delivered its strongest-ever performance with ~47% market share in Q1.
The Iveco deal awaits one final regulatory approval, with the Tender Offer expected to launch in early September 2026 and close by early November 2026.
