Madhuban Chowk Skywalk Set to Improve Safety and Connectivity
Madhuban Chowk Skywalk important step towards safer pedestrian movement, better metro connectivity: CM · thestatesman.com

Delhi is building a raised walkway at Madhuban Chowk.

It will include a skywalk and a foot overbridge.

People will be able to walk above the busy Outer Ring Road instead of crossing it at street level.

The walkway will connect two metro stations with Rohini District Court.

This should make travel safer for metro passengers, court visitors, staff and local residents.

It may also reduce conflicts between people walking and vehicles.

The project is 60 per cent complete and is expected to finish by November 30.

Officials say it could encourage more people to use the metro.
