Telangana Women Wushu Athletes Win Gold at Asmita League
A women’s Wushu competition was held in Hyderabad.
It was called the Asmita Khelo India Women’s Wushu League.
The event took place at Springfields School in Tolichowki.
Young athletes competed in Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior groups.
They also competed in different Wushu events and weight divisions.
Seven Telangana athletes named in the report won gold medals.
Other competitors won silver and bronze medals.
The league helped the athletes practice competing and work toward higher levels in sport.
Ume Hala, Aleena Tajwar, Nida Bagum, Hema Varjan, Aqsa, Pdwija Yadav and Kulsum Mumtaz won gold medals.
The Asmita Khelo India Women’s Wushu League was held for Hyderabad district at Springfields School in Tolichowki.
