Volga Archers Win Medals at Amaravati State Championship

Young archers from Vijayawada competed for NTR district in a State-level championship.

The competition is being held in Tirupati as part of National Sports Day celebrations.

Cherukuri Dolly Shivani won a gold medal in the Under-17 girls’ Recurve event.

Akula Sri Krishna Asthik won silver in the Under-17 boys’ category.

B Priya Vaishnavi won gold in the Under-23 girls’ Compound event.

P Trinath Chowdary won gold in the Under-23 boys’ Compound event.

The championship includes several sports to find and support talented athletes.

The winners will be honoured on August 29.
