Prashant Singh has received a new job leading a Sports Authority of India centre in Gandhinagar.

He will manage sports-related work in Gujarat and Rajasthan.

He has worked on Khelo India and helped prepare Indian teams for major competitions.

Raju Bhargava, a senior police officer, retired on Monday.

He had earlier been transferred to become Rajkot’s police commissioner after a fire killed 27 people in May 2024.

Piyush Patel will temporarily handle Bhargava’s former Armed Units responsibilities.

Officials may soon move other police officers because some senior posts are vacant.
