Athletes from a place in India called Telangana are really good at sports played in the water.

They went to three different cities in India to race against other young athletes.

The first competition was canoe sprint racing in Bhopal, where they paddled small boats.

There, the Telangana team won eight medals, including several golds.

The second competition was rowing in Kolkata, where athletes sit facing backwards and pull their boats with oars.

They won six medals there—three golds, one silver, and two bronzes.

The third competition was swimming in Jaipur, where athletes race through the water.

There, Telangana swimmers won two medals, including a silver for Shivani Karra.

Altogether, the young athletes brought home 18 medals for Telangana.

The state's sports leaders congratulated the medal winners, and the athletes thanked their coaches who helped them train.
