Andhra Cabinet approves Business Act, PPP policy, Amaravati projects

The leaders of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, called the Cabinet, held a big meeting in the city of Amaravati.

They said yes to a new law that makes it easier for businesses to start and work in the state.

They also agreed to build two tall office towers next to a special technology centre for quantum computers.

The leaders decided to make sure farmers in Amaravati get the money they were promised this year.

They said fish and shrimp farmers will pay less for electricity starting June 1, 2026.

They approved a plan to rebuild a crowded neighbourhood in the city of Visakhapatnam to make it better.

They made new rules to keep people who walk on roads safe.

They also decided to stop two old proposed laws and to update rules for private universities.
