Hyderabad Black Hawks Launch Grassroots Volleyball Mission Across Telugu States

Hyderabad Black Hawks is a volleyball team that plays in a big Indian league called the Prime Volleyball League.

The team announced a plan to help volleyball grow in two Indian states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

To start, they held tryouts at a university in a city called Vijayawada.

One hundred and five young players under 21 joined the tryouts, and forty more joined the open tryouts.

The sports minister of Andhra Pradesh came to open the event and said the government will support the plan.

The state sports authority also wants to help set up volleyball training centres at government schools.

The team's owner wants to hold talent hunts every year, support local tournaments, and train coaches with the help of experts.

Players picked at the tryouts could get a chance to join a player auction in Goa in August.

This way, more kids can learn and play volleyball in the future.
