AP Governor Presents Red Cross Awards to Seven District Collectors
The Governor of Andhra Pradesh gave awards to collectors from seven districts.
The ceremony took place in Vijayawada.

It also helps provide artificial hands to people who need them.
Another partnership supports the collection of corneas for eye care.
The Red Cross is also helping spread awareness about avoiding drugs.
Its ‘Mee Intiki Mee Doctor’ project aims to help five lakh families in seven districts.
Governor S Abdul Nazeer presented Red Cross awards to collectors from seven Andhra Pradesh districts.
The awards were given during the Indian Red Cross Society’s 2024-25 annual general meeting in Vijayawada.
The Governor highlighted partnerships supporting thalassemia care, prosthetic hands, cornea collection and anti-drug awareness.
The Red Cross was recognized for the ‘Mee Intiki Mee Doctor’ project covering five lakh families.
The three-year, Rs 8.50 crore project covers seven districts with support from the Rural Electrification Corporation.
