Hyderabad Black Hawks Begin With Fine Victory, Select Under-21 Squad

The Hyderabad Black Hawks are a volleyball team that plays in a league in India called the Prime Volleyball League.

They wanted to find new young players, so they held tryouts in a city called Vijayawada.

Around 180 players signed up for the tryouts, and 105 of them actually got to take part.

The coaches watched everyone and picked 12 players for the team.

Four of those players come from places where people speak the Telugu language.

The other players come from many different parts of India, like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Right after the tryouts, the team travelled to Goa to play in a tournament called the Under-21 Goa Guardians Trophy.

Ten teams from the league are playing in this tournament.

In their very first game, the Black Hawks played against a team called Bengaluru.

The Black Hawks won all three sets and started the tournament with a great victory.
