Mahindra BaaS brings electric SUVs into ₹12-15 lakh price bracket · thehindubusinessline.com

Mahindra is offering a different way to pay for some electric SUVs.

The car price looks lower because the battery is paid for separately.

The BE 6 SPORTEQ starts at ₹11.45 lakh under this plan.

The XEV 9S starts at ₹12.65 lakh, while the XEV 9e starts at ₹13.90 lakh.

The battery payment is advertised at an effective rate of ₹3.75 for every kilometre.

Mahindra says the plan can make electric cars easier for more people to consider.

However, buyers still have to pay for the battery through another agreement.
