Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Launched With Triple-Screen Cabin, Google Gemini
Mahindra is a car-making company in India.
It just introduced a new electric car called the BE 6 Sporteq.
Electric cars run on big batteries instead of petrol.
The most powerful versions can drive up to 683 kilometres before needing a charge.
Some versions have three big screens inside the cabin.
The car can talk using Google Gemini and even has a Drift Mode for fun driving.
Buyers can choose to buy the car without the battery and pay a small fee for every kilometre they drive.
The basic price without the battery is about 11.4 lakh rupees.
The first cars will reach customers on August 26.
Mahindra launched the BE 6 Sporteq electric SUV in India at a starting price of ₹19.45 lakh (ex-showroom), with the range topping out at ₹26.95 lakh.
The BE 6 has been renamed BE 6 Sporteq, with 59kWh, 70kWh and 79kWh battery packs offering a claimed MIDC range of up to 683km.
Select variants get a triple-screen cabin with three 12.3-inch displays and Mahindra's TEQ technology suites, including Google Gemini integration and Drift Mode.
Battery as a Service debuts on the BE 6, letting customers buy the car from ₹11.45 lakh and pay ₹3.75 per km for the battery.
