Pema Khandu announces ₹7,834 crore plan to rebuild Arunachal Pradesh

A state in India called Arunachal Pradesh had some very bad floods and landslides recently.

These disasters damaged roads and buildings.

The leader of the state, Pema Khandu, wants to make everything better and safer.

He promised to spend a lot of money — 7,834 crore rupees — to fix things.

The plan will happen from 2026 to 2029.

He announced this on India's 80th Independence Day.

The money will be used to rebuild roads, give villages better connections to towns, and improve electricity.

He also thanked the national government for sending emergency money to help people.

He told everyone that women in the state are doing amazing things, like running many of the new businesses.

The goal is to build roads and other things that are strong enough to survive floods.
