Pema Khandu announces ₹7,834 crore plan to rebuild Arunachal Pradesh
A state in India called Arunachal Pradesh had some very bad floods and landslides recently.
These disasters damaged roads and buildings.
The leader of the state, Pema Khandu, wants to make everything better and safer.
He promised to spend a lot of money — 7,834 crore rupees — to fix things.
The plan will happen from 2026 to 2029.
He announced this on India's 80th Independence Day.
The money will be used to rebuild roads, give villages better connections to towns, and improve electricity.
He also thanked the national government for sending emergency money to help people.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced a ₹7,834 crore investment for 2026-29 to rebuild Arunachal Pradesh's roads, rural connectivity, power and other key infrastructure.
The announcement came as Khandu hoisted the National Tricolour at Indira Gandhi Park during the 80th Independence Day celebrations.
The plan includes ₹2,334 crore for state roads, ₹2,000 crore for all-weather rural roads and ₹2,000 crore for power infrastructure.
Khandu thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for approving an advance release of ₹44.55 crore under the State Disaster Response Fund.
He said more than 1.5 lakh women are organised into over 16,000 self-help groups and nearly 46 per cent of the state's startups are women-led.
